Wednesday, December 23 Low on the Food Chain

One of my poor chickens was the victim of a hawk attack.  And a poor little mouse succumbed to the agile predatory skills of our own resident panther.

That's my poor little hen, over by the fence.  I guess the hawk didn't want dinner in the middle of a pile of feathers.

She had beautiful white and golden feathers.
