| The hens were laying eggs for days in a secret nest under their ladder. By the time I found it there were over a dozen eggs in it! The picture is blurry because it was in a very dark corner of the coop. |

The hens found a break in the fence and went 'free ranging'!

| But they were easily captured, probably because they thought I had treats. |

| So they were returned to their yard, and Don set to mending the fence |

| But before the work could be done, they were out again. |

| The less brave stayed inside and watched the hole closed |

| Everyone was returned safe and sound, and now they just look longingly at their old escape route. |
